Tentative Blog Header?

I'm not sure about it yet, and I'm still messing around with hand lettering, but I'm pretty pleased with how this turned out! Nebulas are fun to make eyup.

Thursday

Death and the Dunkin Donuts

Me and Kelsey Sunday worked on this comic for MICA Sequential Arts Club annual comic anthology. The theme was death's retirement. We had a lot of fun with it! : )

Huldras and puns?

Some papercut huldras I did a while ago for fun, and finally finished. Not a big fan of the process, I have to admit; I'm just not....cut out for it.

Snow Queen Backgrounds

Backgrounds from MICA's Snow Queen production with David Drake and Marcos Chin. It was awesome! These were projected onto the sides of the stage.

Runaway Robots

Prompts were 'trick' and 'robot.'

Self-Portrait as a Wendigo

Crayon on ink. The prompt was an encounter with a monster.

2:00 in the morning

Winter break is a good time for walks in the woods at night.

Space Papercuts

Space people are my favorite people. Papercut is not my favorite medium. It worked pretty well  in the end though.

Corporate Ladder

.

I designed a gameboard for my Game/Play class. It was a lot of fun to make and to play. You play as a spy trying to get to the top, steal the documents, and make it back out. It gets pretty tense on the way back!

Thursday

Adrian and Kip

Rough character designs for a mini-comic I'm doing for class.

Monday

Laser Lemons!

The best part was making the glasses. I'll have fun messing around with them some more! The assignment was to take a photo and make it into an illustration. I suppose this is a very strange hipster-y band? Laser Lemon is my favorite crayola crayon color.
